I'm new to the postings....
I want to customize the icon of a single folder..Pls help me out.

I don't have Windows 2000, but if you right-click on the folder that you want customized, and you hit properties, followed by customize, then I guess that would solve your problem... However, I use XP, so I'm not sure.....
