hi guys  ;)  this poll can rock this forum , how ?

i want everyone , i mean everyone to vote for this question according to these rules :

1- if u wanted to buy one of these consoles , which one would u buy ? ( u have the money and a big 40,50,60 inches super LCD TV for start running ) so money and that kind of stuff isn't important.

2- when u wanted to vote , please consider all the aspects of these consoles as possible , i repeat " all aspects " , like what ?
like : Graphic - Memory - CPU - Stability when running games - Speed in running games - Supports after buying - Shape - Color - Resoloutions - etc. and any other advantages or even disadvantages that u can name.

3- so please consider whatever is needed in choosing a console as the best one from XBOX 360 or PS 3 .

4- that will be better if u could say why did u choose one of these consoles ( then i and others can find out which one is the best in those aspects and features i mentioned .. )

5- i also enabled the vote changing > so u can change it , if u hit the wrong one or ur mind changed !

6- i thank all of u ( those vote for this poll ) and i wish u get one of these consoles soon !!  ;)  :)

7- i also appreciate those say " neither " of these two consoles and i will give them my best appreciations if they also say , why do they think neither of 'em is the best choice .

8- anything left unmentioned ???  ;D  u can also send ur ideas for better understanding of these consoles ...

 9-  Don't forget : VOTE & VOTE  ..bye..

I got out of console gaming after the PS2. To me, console games just aren't what they used to be and just don't bring the fun they used to.

Any reason the Wii isn't an option? If I were going to buy a console again, that would probably be the one I'd pick.

I dunno...after doing some reading and finding out the PS3 has 8cores running at 3.2GHz and being able to run Resistance: Fall of Man at 60FPS with 32 players in a game is pretty impressive.

I like both the 360 and the PS3.  It just depends on what you're looking for.

Same here.
Console games just aren't that fun to be honest, I prefer playing on a PC when I game.
Plus, the consoles are so expensive - £300 for the console, £50 for a game, another £30 for each controller, etc etc . . . why bother?
I do have a Wii for the fun aspect, for serious games (FPS, strategy) it's my computer all the way.

Remember that any console is just a snapshot at that time of the pinnacle of computing power, and the main reason for the apparent speed is that they're specialised for just one job (gaming) whereas a PC runs the OS behind the game, and can also run other programs.
Soon, the PS3 will look as outdated as the PS2 in terms of the hardware specifications when compared to a midrange PC.

I voted for the 360....

I used to love console's... but during the PS1 era, I decided to not be bothered by console stuff since, I thought, they were just moving towards dedicated gaming PC's. Didn't get a PS1 for about a year after it came out, got a PS2 off of my friend who didn't like it anymore and I only recently got a 360.

Main reason for getting the 360 was because I was under the impression Pro Evolution was exclusive to it... I'm not sure why. But I've really enjoyed having the 360, it is a great console.

I've also seen some comparison videos of the 360vPS3 for certain games, and the 360 looks much better. Can find them on gametrailers.com

I've played the PS3 before and I like the games it has more.  I don't judge consoles on performance though, I judge them on what games I like to play. What's the point of having the best console if you don't like any of the games? I'm no where near being able to afford either of them though lol.

I agree with the first part, PC gaming can be better (certainly, most of the time anyway) but as for the Halo thing I'm not so sure.

IMO, CoD4 is much better than Halo... I don't even think Halo3 is in my top 5 games of this year for the Xbox. I'm not an avid Halo fan though, but one of my close friends absolutely loves it and, although he still enjoyed it, he wasn't blown away by it like he was with CoD or Mass Effect.

Im saying what set the Xbox 360 was the thing that Halo3 is coming out for it so you know that was on MOST people minds when they bought it IMO if they actually wanted to play it and not sell it on ebay  :D

360 is by far the best console out there. I was a loyal Playstation owner until I bought a 30 and no complaints here. (well, maybe the whole "ring of death" thing was a problem at first) PC games are OK but console gaming is easier, better and more fun. It's just my opinion so don't bash my post.

I voted for 360. PS3 is WAY overpriced because of its integrated dethray, grill, mini-bar, etc. And I like the games for 360 more than the PS3 ones. Plus, GTA 4 is coming out for 360. What was that about the PS3 having 8 cores? That can't be true, because almost all PCs have single core or dual core, and the most expensive ones have quad-core. No way the PS3 can have 8. Aside from the consoles seeming fast because they only play games, the resolution is lower than a monitor, even with HD. So out of the two, 360 is better, but PC is still the best.
