greetings all.
I was wondering what is the purpose of bridging a connection? I have two Ethernet ports on the back of my motherboard and I have two separate physical Ethernet  cords going into my motherboard. I "bridged" them together via the Windows device thing. Does this provide me with any advantage? Or is it just pointless? Thanks in advance!

If one of them is wireless you can bridge it with your wired nic.  Then you can plug another computer into that nic and share your connection.  This usually works, although I've been having some problems with it lately.
