Hello,

I have Eve online, which many of you know is one of the largest online games in the world. I am a long time subscriber but was unable to continue paying for it a few months ago, and I decided to check up on the game last night on a newly un-wired computer. (Wireless) I log onto Eve but it plays for a few minutes and then loses the connection. But when I go to the wireless utility it says the wireless is connected. My wireless card is a belkin and my gateway is from Verizon.

This is a common problem with wireless. It is probably loosing connection for just a few seconds. You usually don't notice this during browsing but real time gaming in very sensitive to it.
Start by updating the driver for your wireless card.

How good is your signal strength? If it's less than full you might want to consider moving your wireless access point to get a better signal.

Also in almost all cases, you will achieve optimum results using wireless network cards and router sourced from the same manufacturer.

How did you test your wireless signal? What tools have you used?
