This will drive you nuts!! Have fun! The object of the game is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls. If you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal. It's been said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes. Give it a try but be careful...it is addictive!! Click here- http://members.iinet.net.au/~pontipak/redsquare.htmlI survived 9.4 sec after 5-6 tries

It's been said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes. i doubt it. who has said it? i think they just add that to try to make you play as long as possible. does anyone know a USAF fighter pilot who can do this for 2 minutes?

LOL I love this game!
I made it to 18 seconds after 16 times trying it.
I am going to make it to the 2 mintue time. Just not today! LOL
If the original story was not true, I am sure there is some truth in there.
To give some insight.
Many of these games, the ones that do have a pattern that you can eventually memorize are used more for showing cause and effect.
When I was in the army, we had a class in an on post arcade one time. (before x-box, and WII) We picked the best soldier that could play one of those driving games and he drank a beer and did a shot every 1/2 hour for 2 hours and then he played the game. After awhile he could not even get out of the gate.
We used to also play games to show what lack of sleep will do you.
Example: The commander would give us a game like this one, and have us play it for 1-2 hours to see how good we could get. THEN we would have to stay awake for 24-48 hours and see how we get silly and how our reaction time gets with something like this.
SO, for pilots, they probably play this game alot, master the 2 minutes, then stay awake for 24 hours and see how their reaction time is to the movement of "the stick."
I noticed the movement of the mouse in this game was very touchy, just like a pilot's stick would be.

if you hang out in the top left corner, you last at least ten seconds......
You've gotta get out of there and fast, but it is hard to get out of that corner without touching the square or the walls.

Just some strategy...
To begin...
Go left and up... jump / go around the long block and hang out there for about 10 seconds.
The big square block will eventually go to the bottom right and it will be heading for you.
When it starts from bottom right to upper left ... slowly go straight down and then after the big block passes you, go inward to jump the long block again... go down, wait for the blocks to separate - go straight up, they will separate again, go down again, and then, however you can - head for the upper right corner - that is a little over 18 seconds.
