outlook express

I have gone on to BT Broadband,but my old e-mail address was with freeseve.now I can only recieve mail at that address,I contacted freeseve and was told that as i have changed tha method of dial up it is not possible to send mail through outlook
I have since been told that I can send mail but would need to change the smtp setting so it can go through Bt Broadband can any one help (Windows XP home)
