It's all just for fun, I'm not really too concerned about the numbers and forget to visit the site daily as well. If someone wants to create a script or get a Firefox mod to do this for them they're more than welcome, just don't go overboard and get us banned. ;)

my computer and browser are on 24/7 some will get me the mod or script ill do it

Visiting the city simply increases what ever link you clicked on. If you clicked the population link it increases the population. Unfortunately don't actually become a member of the city.
