They usually are released on MGs, Beta News, Softpedia and Download.com prior to showing up on the Mozilla site. I think it is to try and cut down on server load. Could be wrong.

They also released the Mozilla Firefox Beta 3.0 Beta 5 Pre-release. Sounds like it is getting close to going live.

Found plenty on the RC of this version. Google Search

It will probably show at the Mozilla main page after midnight (depending on your time zone)

The FireFox Beta 3.0 release is available at Portable Apps  if you want to throw it on a thumb drive and take it around the block...

Install it to your thumb drive
Import your Profile
Take it anywhere you want.

TBird as well as many other great Open Source apps are available there as well...

Seeya,
patio.

Hopefully the add-on makers will be caught up by the final release of 3.0. I tried it out about a month ago but hardly any of my add-ons would work. Took all of 10 minutes and I was uninstalling it in favor of 2.0.

Use Mr Tech Local Install extension to cure this...
It fakes out FireFox to seeing the extensions as fully updated and most ( not all ) will then run.
