recently when i asked for help on your virus forum , i was told to download "Comodo" firewall. i did, and now i keep getting a defense alert pop-up saying zfe3.exe could not be recognized and is about to modify a protected registry key. so i guess my question is ,.. what is zfe3.exe? and do i allow it to make the changes,.. and also, how do i stop these pop-ups. thanks in advance for your help

It's almost brand new malware.  See here...

Don't permit it to do anything.

If this is just Comodo displaying an alert you should be able to configure Comodo to not alert you allowing it to get on with its job.

As well as Comodo are you running anti-virus (AVG, Avira etc) and SpywareBlaster?

Please wait for one of our authorised malware removal specialists to advise.

Good luck

Read the link I posted.

Perhaps you should repost your query in the Viruses & Spyware forum and mention that you have already posted in this forum or you might be shut-out for dual posting.

Good luck.
