Excel workbook - project help.

Hello,
I have taken on a project for our Men's Golf Club. 

I am looking for someone to help me with an EXCEL workbook we use which was written by a member back in 04'

He is no longer with the club and we would like to expand it's capabilities to generate end of the year reports.  And, we would like to have the format expanded to use for 3-man events and 4-man events.
 
The book is the basis of calculating Gross/Net Skins, Identifying Gross/Net team ranking, and it functions to create team calculations using a random draw format.
 
I would like help to understand how the functions have been created and help creating a YTD summery.

I have limited experience with Excel and understand most functions within the program when they are explained.
