my apple G3 gives me a diskette sign with question mark and does not boot to desktop :(

Hi KIKIBILLY,  Are you still having that problem? 2-1/2 months waiting for a reply doosen't seem like much help.

the symptoms you report are indicating that the computer cannot find a bootable volume, ie. hard drive, floppy or cd with a system folder. I hope you have found a solution before now. If not  you can post again.
