Note: All American spellings were flagged as wrong by my trusty Firefox, so I changed them all to the correct English ones.  Take that, USA!

The American spellings are correct. The Brit spellings came about from the "French-ified" British aristocracy. The purist existing form of English is spoken in the mountains of Applachia. Spell checkers use what is customary to the region, not necessarily what is correct.  Cool This concludes your English lesson for today. Grin

Next time I'm on, I'll be sure to add you.  My name on there is Tussin.  'Twas the only thing I could come up with that wasn't taken (even a random string of letters I typed out of frustration was taken!).  If you ever come across MrFoodMonsterMan and/or ZombieToast, please frag the out of them for me.

Awesome, if I'd read that earlier I'd have added you already, just been on for an hour or so.
It's annoying how all the names are taken, and I'll be sure to get MrFoodMonsterMan and ZombieToast next time I see them.

Raptor definitely wins the "creativity award".  Wink

Scott, your mention of puterhope.com made me register that domain. So puterhope.com within the next 24 hours should forward you to computerhope.com Wink I don't know about having a 50 cal mounted to anything, but just owning one of those guns would be really fun, although very expensive rounds.

I do own a AR-10 stoner riffle and although it's no 50 cal it is fun. Smiley

Well; technically- there is a family owned gun manufacturer in Tn that makes and sells this 50 caliber monster. I have heard some special forces are using this weapon. Compared to the big-boy weapon manufacturers this equipment is relatively cheap, I believe they sell in the 4000.00 range. This thing can shoot down aircraft*.
60 minutes had a nice 15 minute story on this 1-2 years ago, that's where I had first heard about it. I really don't know if my dream will come true but It should and I have no plans on being boarded by some quack group of Somalia in motorboats. Call me paranoid but things happen out at sea.  + they can do serious damage to those darn dolphin always swimming by the boat !

The price of the gun is one thing, but the rounds are around 1.25US each. Also I don't believe any gun range would allow you to shoot the gun in their range, so have to go way out in the open to even fire the thing. Wink

I also saw that 60 minute story on the 50 cal and it had some good points. I couldn't really see a reason for owning a riffle as powerful as it is other then the complete joy of shoot it a few times.

I have an airsoft machine gun. I sometimes go with my friends and just shoot boxes by the dump. Its really fun  Grin
We found 5 doors so we made a mini bunker and two people would hide in the bunker as we shot the doors. If you are inside the bunker, it sounds like actual gunshots and everything. i know unsafe but it was worth it. we did have pillows and other crap in there incase a pellet found a way in.
