I installed FreeBSD unix on an old desktop to learn Unix. Now I need to remove the Unix and reinstall windows.
I am having problems removing the Unix partition from the HD.
I have a 6G HD and Fdsik will only recognize 473MB. The FreeBSD partion tool sees the whole 6G.
Fdisk only sees 473MB and I am lost.
Anyone have any ideas.

Thanx

Yes.
DOS Fdisk only sees 473MB
The Unix partion tool sees the entire HD.
I have tried a DOS wipe tool, and just found a unix wipe tool, I'm going to try it today.

Thanx to everyones help. I found a unix wipe utility that cleared the unix partition. Also somewhere the Bois was reset to factory, smaller HD.
This one is solved.
