NEC Superscript 1400 Laser Printer Problem

Whenever I send something to the printer, it resizes it to a smaller size.  I ahve checked everything I know to check, all options are set to letter size, no scaling, etc.  All of the current settings on this printer are the same as the previous printer I had on my computer and everything was OK.  When I say it resizes the print job, it seems to only want to use about 3/4 of the page, and shrinks up the document to fit.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  All drivers current, tried both a printer cable and a USB cable.
