We need more information, Please look here.

For example, what Operating System and what happened before this problem (did you download/install/run anything).

What does this desktop look like? Is it only the icons are gone or is the task bar gone as well (the one that says START and has the clock)

If you can get Task Manager up, start a new task explorer.exe

Try that.

The task manager is locked.. can't access to it. even I used the administrator account. Is there any other step I may take?

This sounds like spyware has disabled your taskmanager. Is that possible? Do you have good protection?

Three computers in our lab have the same problem as Anau mentioned.
If they are working together, it appears this is a computer lab. The administrator might have disabled Task Manager (just like they did in our school).

Do you have the Windows CD?

- We don't have the Window CD.
- This morning we turn on one of the computer that had the problem yesterday and it went well and icons appear but with white desktop background.
- We don't have antivirus for the laptop and maybe the spyware affects it as you mentioned. Is there any other way I can get my files in the laptop?

If you think it's spyware/malware, I would have a look here:

When at work tomorrow tell him that posting issues in other people's threads only confuses the issue...
