An undefined problem has an infinite number of solutions.—Robert A. Humphrey
Did you buy this iPod used and/or from China? You can't be too trusting when purchasing on eBay. What's the seller's return policy?
In my opinion, Ipod = Trouble.
Also, the ipod is apparently on hold, and it won't let me take it off hold. I was definately able to use it before hand, which is really weird.

I even bought my 5th generation iPod on eBay and have had no problems with it.
No, when i move it nothing happens. On screen it still shows the little lock to say that hold is on (and before you start wondering, i only see the menu with the little lock because it comes on when you plug it in. I, of course, can't turn it on with the hold switch messed up)
