Recently loaded Win2k Professional.
Idled computer begins sleep process, and at some point can't awaken it. Need to kill power, and reboot.

Believe that the "standby" mode is the problem.
Would guess this is a registry problem, but would like some ideas.

Do you want it to actually go into standby?

If not go to control panel, power options and change the settings.

What buttons are you pressing to wake it up? Have you tried the Esc key?
