free screenshot program.

Ther's gadwin printscreen,m there's screen hunter OR there's the PrtScr button on the keyboard that makes screenshots.

Yes, but other screen capture programs usually offer additional features, such as giving you more flexibility in selecting exacting what you want to capture.

a lot of times, I can capture better quality images with the software because you can zoom in on exactly the part of the screen you want. So you can zoom in on a small image and that makes it much clearer.

I use ScreenHunter. ScreenHunter and Gadwin are both good programs, doing similar things. One thing about Gadwin is, you can have the program insert a watermark into the saved screenshot indicating the date that the screenshot was obtained, which I think is helpful if you have many screenshots you want to keep stored and sorted.
