??? Confussed

I have a vp=eye brand webcam and have screwed around with it before making little videos and whatnot......The videos used to play using the mmvem player provided with the software. By accident I changed the program the player used to play the .vem extension. Of course winamp couldnt play the file and I switched it back to mmvem and it hasnt worked since! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything.....I have a few homeade vids I want to see but I cant access them. Any ideas???

oh and when i try to open them I get an error msg saying error cannot open (folder name) .vem
