For the month of November we thought it would be interesting to see how many contacts total you have in your instant messenger clients such as MSN Messenger, AIM, etc. Feel free to talk about how many IM clients you have if any, how many of your contacts are active, etc. I'd like to thank Kpac for his suggestion for this month's poll.

All past monthly polls and results can also be found on the Computer Hope poll page.

Nice Kpac.

I unintentionally managed to keep with MSN Messenger 7.5 without it forcing me to install Windows Live Messenger (one more reason to hate WLM).
Out of 103 contacts, an average of about 20 people are online.
About 2-5 people I speak to regularly.

I have Skype installed but it's only there to talk to my parents (when I'm away or they're away) and to my grandparents.

Currently, 42 contacts on my MSN account, using Pidgin.
At a guess I talk to no more than 20, maybe 5-10 regularly.
I need to clean up all my contact lists and information soon.
I don't use Xfire any more, but when I did I had, I don't know, 20 contacts or so, and talked to about 3.  Hence why I don't use it any more.
Skype - 2 contacts, talk to 1 occasionally.

101 contacts, including mobile.

Now, granted, a majority of them seldom log in, some of the accounts have changed, some of them are duplicates of the same people with different addresses.
9 contacts online at this very moment.

If you include home addresses and phone numbers, I have 201 contacts in my messenger list.

I have about 60 msn contacts, with an average of 8 being online most of the time. Normally i don't speak to more than 4 people at a time though.

None.  I don't use instant messengers.  I find it easier to call people than to type to them.  I also don't have a web cam.

5. My schedule however often prevents me from being online at the right times to catch them, except on my days off.
