OE - Spam Problem

Dear Computer Guru's:

I'm overrunned in SPAM - since Saturday Morning last I've gotten 25 "REAL E-Mails" and 1.000+ Spam msg's

I've tried a number of the advertized Anti-Spam Free Software Packages (They require you to waist your time on the Server checking if the msg is or is not Spam - What a waste).

I would accept your recommendations for a Good (not Perfect) Anti-Spam program.

I don't have any money to spend ($2,800 per month income & $3,300 per month outgo - 100% VA Disability Check - Call Congress for a Pay Raise - Ha Ha Ha Ha).
