I tried downloading my video camera's program today. It didn't automatically start so when I opened the folder and clicked on the icon it tried opening it with Acrobat, obviously it didn't work and I suspect foul play. Someone must have been messing around and changed the default application to open it with. Nonetheless, how do I open it now? Pweeeez help!

I use a Mac OS X 10.4.11
I'm trying to install the Sony Handycam Picture Package 1.5.1
There's no error message, I just don't know how to install it without it trying to open in Acrobat.

You are leaving out a lot of information.

Is this a compressed file (.zip)?
Is this a disk image (.dmg)?
Is this the an installer (.pkg)?
