Okay, my friend at school said he got hacked by a Korean dude and he's threatening to delete files...BLAH.

So, I said that I'd get something that hides his files.

Should it just be:

Code: [Select]
attrib -h -b %homepath%\desktop\*.*?

I need the hiding and unhiding code, thanks.

I love how there was no attempt to even verify the claim.

How does he know this guy "hacked" him. Why aren't you simply trying to prevent the user from connecting, by- oh say, removing the remote control backdoor trojan that would have needed to be installed?

"hiding files" to prevent a person that hacked into a computer over the net with a trojan is like trying to hide an elephant underneath a bed. Eventually the trunks fall down, or something.

How does he know he got hacked?

Let me guess he was sitting at home on a Saturday morning watching cartoons when he gets phone call from some Korean dude telling him he has been hacked and unless he turns over his lunch money to him he will start to erase files.

I see this went down the wrong path. I know him, he thinks he can be cool by saying "OMG I GOT HAXED BY A KOREAN DUDE!".

He also said HE hacked NASA and the FBI won't notice =\.

If he even attempted hacking NASA trust me the FBI already knows...
Tell him to develop a new line of Drama like "i'm dating a Cheerleader"...

He told me his uncle logged in with his U&P.

I know, but, you can lock this, it's pointless =\.
