By no means a super computer, but definitely an improvement for me and I'm sure something that will be helping the team when it's all done and setup.  ;D

Intel Core i7 920 2.67 GHz 64-bit
GeForce 9800GT
6GB Memory

Well didn't build it like I mentioned in another post.  :-[ Short on time and was needing a new system so chose not to build this one. It's a Dell XPS 730X, so it's a Dell modified motherboard. But It's a X58 MB.

At this point the rate of return for DDR3 vs. cost is still not paying off...
Me i'm stockpiling high end DDR2 for inventory.
Once it's gone it's gone.

I'd do the same patio, if I could afford to.
DDR3 doesn't seem worth it to me at all right now, the negligible performance benefit not justifying the price premium.
The platform however, with an i7 and support for more RAM on a mainstream/enthusiast board than most mainstream/enthusiast DDR2 boards, does appeal to me.
It's not my kind of thing though, and I won't be investing in i7.

Nice nathan! Slidewayz: why do you need a new computer?

Actually got it so my GF who's helping me out on some work on the site can use my previous work machine and not one of my later test machines.

Why no client for Win2K ? ?

I have that machine just sitting idle most of the time although it has decent specs...

Not sure why Windows 2000 was phased out of the newer clients, but there's a link to the page to download older clients.
Hope this helps.
