I went through and cleared all older bans. However, if you're still getting kicked from the autokick it's for good reason. The only recent action that was taken was from a user misbehaving and grieving users earlier today. However, because your ISP is not providing the forums with a hostmask I can't see if this affected you or not. Try sending me a PM in chat and that way I can see your host information if you still can't get in.

Ok. Thanks for logging in as mentioned to you in chat this is being caused because someone was causing grief earllier on the chat and continued logging in under different aliases even when being banned, so I had to resort to autokicking the complete ISP.

Ok. Like I said remind me in a few days and we'll give it a shot and remove the ban. Unfortunately if it happens again ISP will need to remain banned. If there was a way to uniquely identify the one individual that is doing this I'd do it.

Nathan, as long as its not a static address, contact the network administrators in #mibbit or #help, and see if they can just G-Line the IP address for a while. They can set up a certain amount of days as well.

The IP address keeps changing - that's why he chose to ban the whole isp.

Why would he want to get the whole isp g-lined?   Wouldn't that prevent the poor guy from connecting at all to the whole network??
It is bad enough that he is banned from the channel he wants to join, through no fault of his own.

I never said ban the ISP.

I suppose you could always contact the ISP at their abuse address, it seldom works though. Ashuntosh could always connect via. a proxy as well.

You can set a ban exempt on this person.  Type this:

Code: [Select]
/mode #computerhope +be *!*@*.*.1B403eFC.IP this_persons_nick!*@*
Then this person can join even though the host is banned.
