    Re-install the MBoard chipset drivers...re-boot.
Check connectivity...if no joy-joy re-install the Ethernet drivers.

Thanks guys. I got it. I'm getting some random BLUE WINDOWS ERROR SCREENS NOW THOUGH. Only every once in a while. I took pictures of the blue screens. Any idea where I can go to look up the error messages to fix this thing. I just did a XP reinstall. DANGIT! Wireless and LAN work though. I will look into it futher but thanks for the help!  ;D I looked under device manager and everything looks good. I even did the EVEREST program and it came up clean. Hmm.....

        Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder.
If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach zipped file to your next reply.

To me that looks like it's not an on board lan device it's an external lan card installed on your machine and you haven't A installed it correctly, or be your motherboard doesn't like it, i would say it's b, cause i think you installed it properly.. try another lan card :D Should work keep me posted! :P

I only use that linksys card on my other machine. The reason I started using it on the ACER was because i couldn't get on the internet with the wireless internal card. I uninstalled that card on my ACER. Is that whats been giving me problems then. It trying to access a pcmcia card that I don't even use/have installed?

It trying to access a pcmcia card
                How do you know that?
Did you disable the card in Device Manager?
Did you reinstall Intel driver, I gave you link to?
