Hey everyone,
I have Dell Inspiron laptop and am planning to connect to my tv. Now my laptop doesnt have hdmi, svideo , it only got vga output .. and i have two tvs . one is Sony's KF42WE620 42" Grand WEGA Lcd and other is Sony's KV32FS120 32" FD Trinitron tv now 42 inch tv has svideo and this DVI-HDTV Interface .. and the other tv has no svideo just got RCA also i have a sony dvd player that got svideo so what r my options and how can i connect my laptop to tv cheapely thanks

*should be:
-inexpensive
-easy to find
-good quality results

Have a look on www.keene.co.uk (under video conversion) or your local equivalent.  Plenty of conversion equipment there that will do the job.

Buy a PCMCIA/PC Card S-Video adapter.  Google can find one for you.

Um...  I thought this was the other way round - the OP wants to use a large TV screen as an external monitor for the laptop.  Did I miss the point?
