checking compatibility??

hi all,

how can i know whether my mobo is compatible with a
certain video card or not??i know there is something
called HCL at microsoft.com but i couldn't find
out what to do in order to check the compatibility..

anyways,to make things clearer,i want to check the compatibilty
of my "PX865PE Lite" with an "nVidia Geforce 4 FX5600"??

You need to check the manufacturer's website for compatibility http://www.albatron.com.tw/.  Although I didn't see anything, I noticed they use the Nvidia Geforce chipset for their video cards, so I don't think you'd have a problem.  It's your call though.  If you need additional help, you can reach me at ResourcePC.
