i bought a 9600 GT nvidia xfx geforce video card, the CD it came with says go to nvidia.com for latest drivers. i go to the site and install latest drivers, dosent work. i go to xfxforce.com register my vid card and get the drivers specific to my card and it says cannot read the hardware. nvidia says its not a nvidia driver. ive tried other drivers and nothing has worked. i spent a hundred dollars on a video card i cant return or get to work. please help.

i didnt delete it the first time i tried to install but after trying several times i went in and completly removed anything with a nvida tag and tried from scratch. then i went to nvidia site and installed the series 9 drivers (with the 9600 installed) it didnt work. so i put my old video card in (9400 GT) and that worked just fine. so the drivers were installed. but my PC is neglecting to read my 9600 as nvidia or xfx
