Hi,

I accidentally banned myself from the computerhope chat by typing a wrong command.
Anyway, Lostcoast was gonna talk to the admin about unbanning me but i guess he was unsuccessful cause it's been a few weeks now. I feel so stupid about now. But i didn't break rules or anything....

If anyone want to send the admin a email asking them to please unban me (E12FEB38.B5DF5A4F.83C3CFFC.IP) i'd really appreciate it. The address is webmaster@computerhope.com

The computerhope admin banned you?  What would the command you typed in do?  It must have been pretty bad.. :-\

hopebot, probably.

wrong command? you didn't "accidentally" kick hopebot... I mean, it's understandable- the keys are all like, right next ot each other.

The computerhope admin did not ban me, I banned my myself by accident.
I think i seen someone use the "!report" and i asked what it did with "!report" in my sentence. But to make it short i banned myself. I however do need the admin to unban me, because i didn't break any rules.

No, i doubt it. I was banned because i banned myself not because i kicked anyone. Besides i don't think i have the privilege to kick people yet.

Here's my conversation with Lostcoast on Mibbit after i banned myself. I'm guest_87.

I did, but it's been a few days and no response. And i'm still banned.

What can I do, I'm willing to do just about anything.

I'm afraid the only person that can fix this is the admin.
I understand your frustration but bumping the post won't help, you've sent him a PM and made this thread and that's about all you can do.  Just be patient.

True, but it's hard waiting 2+ weeks, with no answer.
Cityscape is thinking "maybe i should get a petition going".

Hey, but i did find this: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,78943.0.html
This gives me details on the commands so i don't ban myself in the future. :)
I highly recommend it.

I'm still not convinced you can even accidentally do a self-imposed ban from chat...

Ok that's what I thought, which is why I didn't comment back on it.

Glad to hear you're fixed.
