Opening a link in an email

When I am sent a link inside of an email it always opens to a "save as" prompt instead of a browser window.  Can I change this setting and how?

jdub.....What operating system are you using and which Email program ?
If you have a attatchment included in your Email .......does it open ok ..

Is it possible that you are using the right click instead of left click to open your links ............because if you use the right click it will prompt you to "save as "
