Hey guys sure could use a little help on this.  My buddy and I want to transfer files from his computer to mine and we have been trying to set up a ftp site but with no luck.  What it is,is he has a lot of movies in his computer and you can't send large files through our email's so his idea was to create a ftp site.  If anybody here would like to help us set this up we sure would appreciate it..........thanks two-dogs

Maybe reading the forum rules would help - Computer Hope will NOT help with

Copyrighted material

Downloading or using a program (e.g. torrent / P2P program) to download a copyrighted software program, game, movie, song, TV show, book, or any other content protected by copyright laws.
Finding places on the Internet to watch movies or TV shows or listen to copyrighted music.
    Making backups of copyrighted DVDs.
Help users use copyrighted material in their own video, song, or website.
Posting any copyrighted material, even if it's being used for helping others.

Now as to legitimate file sharing.
For as little as $1 a month you can ;rent' a web site with about 1 GB  temporary storage. You could share file shat way.
EDIT more line 0.25 per month

Or, you can just set up remote control between your two PCs and haven full control of one PC by the other.
