OK

This is a bootdisk that uses a RAMdrive.

You'll have to try each letter after D: until you find the CDROM drive but if my memory serves me correctly it is K:

Sorry...been awhile.

don't apologize I appreciate the help. we call get busy .Now I tried all the letters the bad command or file name  comes up . I made sure that CD is the first in the boot order. I can put the c::  scandisk  and the error message c:\windows\system32\config\system.log files is being misreported
c:\windows\setupact.log file.

When you try each drive letter if it switches to that drive type in dir /p and hit Enter...
This will show the contents of each drive....you should be able to recognise the Windows CD when you get to it...
Once you have the correct drive type setup and hit Enter and the install will start.
