It's just an issue with the stats on the homepage.
If you enter chat you'll see the actual names.
It's impossible to be logged on IRC with the same nickname more than once anyhow.

I would like to point out that I had no idea that the thread you linked to existed.  In the future I want to know when someone makes a reference to my taste in fashion.

<edit>  To be honest my roommate and I had a great laugh over that.  A few years ago he came home to find me wearing a tinfoil hat(I thought it was funny).  He didn't say a thing, just went upstairs to put the beer in the fridge and came back downstairs to watch the hockey game.  </edit>
