Hi,

Does anyone have a cheap, portable but powerful computer that fits around these specifications?
MUST BE LAPTOP
Intel Core Duo (at least 2Ghz)
Around 4GB DDR3RAM

Reasonably portable

Good battery (2.5 hours +)
Under NZ$2500 (can go to $3000, but if possible NZ $2500)
Any size Screen
Don't care about the hardrive type but 80GB or bigger

Thanks, Any brand, or computer would be great,

Heck, I'd go with a MacBook pro. I have a unibody 15 inch and love it to death!

That way I get the best of all 3 worlds thanks to vmware.

check out the Dell Studio 17. A friend of mine got one a couple months ago and it seems like a good laptop. It's way below your max price range too.
