Can anyone tell me why I have to type in http : \\ before I can bring up any web site...before I didn't have to do that.....and now all out the blue I have to type in http : \\

virgilmr....Have you changed any settings on your computer or done any updating. How were you getting into any sites before.......perhaps you could give us an example.
what operating system are you using and which browser
do you use ?
