Hello vgpotts and welcome to Computer Hope Forum. My name is Superdave but you can just call me SD. I will be helping you out with your particular problem on your computer. I am working under the guidance of one of the specialist of this forum so it may take a bit longer to process your replies.

This warning has to do with McAfee backup data. You might try re-installing this program to see if it will fix this problem.
I've examined your HJT log and it looks quite clean. there are only a couple of things to do here:

Open HijackThis and select Do a system scan only

Place a check mark next to the following entries: (if there)

Code:
[B]09 - extra button: help - {0e0f2828-2f59-4851-9f9d-1ccca14a62e6} - http://www.comcast.net/memberservices/ (file missing) (hkcu)

09 - extra button: comcasthsi - {5af0ec4c-52fb-41d5-9cd5-fc6baf8d8a09} - http://www.comcast.net (file missing) (hkcu)

09 - extra button: support - {71625986-05b5-48a7-88eb-ba92657fd1fe} - http://www.comcastsupport.com (file missing) (hkcu)

018 - protocol: intu-help-qb2 - {84d77a00-41b5-4b8b-8adf-86486d72e749} - c:\program files\intuit\quickbooks 2006\helpasyncpluggableprotocol.dll

018 - protocol: qbwc - {fc598a64-626c-4447-85b8-53150405fd57} - mscoree.dll (file missing)

018 - protocol: qbwc - {fc598a64-626c-4447-85b8-53150405fd57} - mscoree.dll (file missing) [/B]

Important: Close all open windows except for HijackThis and then click Fix checked.

Once completed, exit HijackThis.

Here is something to try to see if it will speed up your slow computer.

Slow Computer? It may not be Malware for free cleaning/maintenance tools to help keep your computer running smooth.

Please let know if you have any questions.

Update,

Runs better after it has been loaded. from boot to fully booted takes about 10 minutes.
Also I cannot update any files from MSN Windows updates. Any suggestions on that problem?

        Thanks Gary
