I am still getting  a search provider default and every once in a while my IE pops up an AV add and when I "x" out it goes there anyway and starts a scan.

Can you get me a screenshot of this when it happens please. How to post screenshots or images

     Here are the screenshots. The first pops up first. Then when you click ok the second comes up.

That's not your antivirus. It's Internet Explorer wanting you to add search providers.

Place a check mark in the box at the bottom. 'prevent programs from suggesting changes to my default search provider'

I tried that when Yahoo search was still on it but i was still having many problems then. I will try it again now that everything has cleared up. as soon as the AV pops up again I will post it.  Thanks again
