Okay.  I will try it.   I have tried so many things, and so far nothing has worked.  I'm getting very frustrated :  (

I don't think that utility will help you. Nor do I think it will hurt, but I have to believe you're going to need to do the repair installation.

3). I have ran malware and superantispyware and Norton (I do not run them at the same time) have several viruses, and removed them.

Why not run HJT and let Evil have a look at a log....you had viruses, you probably didn't get them all....he can't do anything for you without logs.

I mean, is Hijackthis the only log that I would need to post IF I can get it to run?

I will not let me run HJT.  It says "windows cannot find the specified path, file.  You may not have the appropriate permission to access the file".  I even tried to rename it and it won't let me.  Says access denied.

Yea, I can get into safe mode.  I know I tried running it from there before, and it wouldn't let me.  Same thing, but I can try it again when I get home.

My problem is fixed.  Anyone wanting to know how to fix this problem, go to geekstogo.com, go into forums and type explorer.exe in the search engine and go to "explorer.exe not found?" a forum that I started.  I'm not saying it will fix your problem, but it did mine. I got my desktop back!  Thanks to everyone on here for trying to help me.
