Why don't you just tell us here what you want to do.  It would be much easier than seeing the below response all the time.

I'm not going to track down your other posts to get a feel for your problem.

I have a old NEC VERSA laptop and t's running win 95. Anyways i have some old DOS games on my win 98 and i wanted to copy files to the laptop. But since it has no cd rom player i have to use floppys and i got a few games on it like, prince of persia, maro, pacman. I copied all files on a floppy for the GAmes DOOm util there was one left. Even with an empty floppy this file is to big. It's 4mb. I wanted to know is there some way i could split this file so i can transfer it through floppy?

You cannot simply copy game program files and move them to another machine and expect them to work...
This is by design.

They did work
some games i used one floppy some i had to  split to two floppys.

Do both computers have internet access? You could email the file, I often transfer files between computers like that.

no the laptop doesn't even have an e-thernet port only phone line.

so you don't get dail-up on it? any internet will work, doesn't have to be high speed.

I told you WinZip has spanning capability.  I used to use this all the time, so I know it works.

well, some oldish Windows games don't need to be installed either. I have a bunch of them myself.

this is win 95 im talking of and i don't have a dial up modem port since 1998. i'm talking of the modem ports on the computer that require a phone cable hooked up to a modem and yes this is a DOS gam. But i have done this with many other games too. but not through floppy.

If you have a 9 pin crossover serial cable then you can certainly transfer the files that way.  If I remember correctly it was also called a null modem cable.

As to how to set it up, I certainly can't remember, but I'm sure someone else can.
