I'm thinking he has a game he wants to split into smaller files he can burn to a CD... I'm also predicting failure...
However...carry on...

no, I have a old NEC VERSA laptop and t's running win 95. Anyways i have some old DOS games on my win 98 and i wanted to copy files to the laptop. But since it has no cd rom player i have to use floppys and i got a few games on it like, prince of persia, maro, pacman. I copied all files on a floppy for the GAmes DOOm util there was one left. Even with an empty floppy this file is to big. It's 4mb. I wanted to know is there some way i could split this file so i can transfer it through floppy?

You cannot simply copy game program files and move them to another machine and expect them to work... This is by design.

this is win 95 im talking of and i don't have a dial up modem port since 1998. i'm talking of the modem ports on the computer that require a phone cable hooked up to a modem and yes this is a DOS gam. But i have done this with many other games too. but not through floppy.
