I neeed help removing HDDLife

I've been unable to remove HDDLife from my computer.  Add/Remove programs in control panel only brings up messege that "program not installed."  I'm worried because messages on manufacturer's website go unanswered.  More,  I've found that the program somehow linked itself to a file of information that could compromise my computer security. 

BTW,the company, is Russia- based,  and could be operating illegally and safe from any law enforcement agencies. 

I'd appreciate any help and/or advice.

The file is not a Windows system file. Program can be removed using the control panel Add\Remove programs applet. HDDlife.exe is able to record inputs. Therefore the technical security rating is 13% dangerous, however also read the users reviews.

Some malware camouflage themselves as HDDlife.exe, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the HDDlife.exe process on your pc whether it is pest.

Findout for the process if it runs in taskmanager. Manually search for it and delete the file. If not possible use an antivirus scanner to find whether it is a virus.
