Recently purchased a new dvd rw drive, while the old drive was out, ... Now not only does my computer not recognize when new hardware is attached, but it does not recognize the other dvd drive that I didn't touch. How do I fix this? ...

...1. I have a dvd drive which was drive D and the new dvd rw drive which was drive E that i am using to replace a cd rw drive that was broken, 2. I thought that since I wasn't making any additions that the cables would be connected as they were previously. 3. Could the problem possibly be on the set up page where the booting sequence is posted, if the first drive (drive #1) it tries to boot is not there, it prohibits the other drives from being detected? Maybe I should change some things on my setup?
