W32.Koobface.D virus

Symantec Anti-virus is finding a virus on my computer (Windows XP) and although it says it deletes it each time, it reappears in each new scan.  It is causing pop-ups and has apparently posted a video on my facebook wall.  When I try and open facebook, it closes the web page.

Symantec leads me to the following web page:

I have followed the steps for removal but it seems to have no effect.

Any ideas?

This is a heads up for you and very important....Contact all people on your friends list and tell them NOT to click on any links to videos sent by YOU......You may have to use another computer.....It's not you sending them, but it's the worm using your account to pass this worm to everyone who clicks on a link from you....the cycle then begins anew with people on your friends list becoming victims....Videos may say " Check out this video, nnever sseen any thing like this" .....(Incorrect spelling and all) OR "Was that really yoo in tthat videoo"  ....They will try anything to get you to download that worm thru the video link....Avoid any requests to download Adobe Flash updates as well...

Thank you for your reply.  This describes exactly how my computer contracted the virus.  I have put a message on facebook telling people not to open any of my messages.  Can anyone give me some advice on how to remove the virus?
