Hello,
Talked to my wife earlier and she informed me that someone at work supposedly had their computer infected by a virus and supposedly that virus cannot be removed (was told that by some local technicians).. she didn't go into details about the name of the virus, etc, but did say that apparently a popup appeared on the persons computer saying the virus protection needed updated, and supposedly neither clicking to close or clicking no stopped the virus from getting into the computer...
The company they work for is going to junk the computer and replace it.. appears the only person to get that popup and virus was that individual..
My question is  does such a virus exist and it cannot be removed from the computer??.. McAfee has been updating every day for some time now.. if it does exist will keep an eye out for any popups of that nature.. if one would get one, what procedure would be the best way to deal with it???
Thanks,
Larry
