I've connected the network cable to my PC (I've tried both ethernet controllers), but windows (first Windows 7, now XP) keeps telling me the network cable is unplugged. The router detects the cable without issues. I've tried restarting the PC, resetting the router, but nothing works.  >:(

never mind, the UTP cable was wrong. all working fine now :)
