hello

if someone has the time could you help this old man out?  the screenshot attached is the chipset driver i have now, the link below is a update i think.  do i need to install the one on the link?

The screenshot you have attached is what CPU-Z says is your mainboard chipset and your BIOS type. It contains no driver details such as version number, etc, from which we could establish how old the driver is. You also posted a link to a driver uploaded in 2007. It may be no newer than the driver you already have installed. It is not even on the maker's website. I should say that if your PC is working OK, don't bother. In general, monkeying around with drivers just for the sake of it is a bad idea.
