Can I shutdown programs with a program? Like only those you can shutdown whit the Ctrl +alt +delete thingy (there was no translation who know how to translate it in to English) in Programs, under Activity and only those. Can you shut them down whit a program, shortcut?

You might wonder why I want to do this, and it's becuase when I play games, sometimes the game freeze but my computer is still running so I can open programs but the game is always on top so I can only see the mouse but I can't find the Abort acivity button to shut the game down. I got a good keyboard whit some button I never use that I can add to make them to run a program/shortcut or something.

If not can I do it some other way, except to shutdown the computer.

When the game freezes, what happens when you press ctrl-shift-escape?.......this should open task manager...then you can highlight the program/process thats frozen and End Task......Or am I completely misunderstanding your problem?

ok if I say like this then. The whole screen is black and you can only see your mouse, and you know you most highlight the game and then press on the Abort button and if you press wrong you must highlight the game again.

And that's almost impossible to do, So I want a a program/shortcut to do it. Just tell me if it is possible or not please

Bill what is that related to?

Taskkill  is directly related to the question:

"How to shutdown program with a program?"

"Basic" is indeed basic.  "Basic"  misses the point of ever Thread.

"Basic" is so slow, he does not realize what he is asking or posting.

alright "Ike", he can only see his mouse when this happens. if he can simple go to the command prompt and roughly type that in, why not task manager? because all he can see is his mouse, SuperF4 is much better

If only "Ike" has more resources than the command prompt
If only "Ike" realized nobody in this forum wants you here

Did "Basic" know Ike.  Ike was from Kansas.

"Basic" is right.  We have both steak and filet mignon with the Command Prompt.

Need I remind "Basic"  that all the Microsoft Troubleshooters use commands at the  Command Prompt.
