IBM Thinkpad T40 2373 keyboard layout

I bought a refurbished IBM Thinkpad T40 2373, but did not get a manual with it.  Can someone tell me what all the blue function keys do?  I can't see the symbols clearly, and probably wouldn't know what they mean, if I could.  Also, how  do you wake it up from sleep mode?  I just push buttons till it wakes up, or else manually turn it off and restart it.  It would be good to have a complete manual, if anyone knows where I could get one.

I clicked on your link, then on Online User's Guide - ThinkPad General, which took me to a page saying A User's Guide is not included with newer ThinkPad systems, therefore it is also not available in PDF or hardcopy format.

ThinkPad systems are preloaded with the Access Help application which contains information similar to that which would be included in a User's Guide.

You can access this application by pressing the appropriate button on the top left of your keyboard.

I have the 'Access IBM' button indicated, but nothing happens when I press it.  There is also a link to download the 'ThinkVantage Productivity Center', but the supported systems listed does not include the T40.   Do you have any other suggestions or help?
