Older computer, 1998, will not "hold" time.  Reverts back to 1980 at reboot.  Battery is soldered in.  What do I do?

go in the bios del key or whatever is used on your pc and see if the time display is right if not alter it..and also take dbl advice the battery is over 6 years now a new replacing..
