Title: How do I scan a picture and put it on my computer?

Hello everyone,

How do I scan a picture and put it on my computer? I have an all in one printer, scanner and copier. I am not sure if they will do it and how? An example of what I am asking is. If someone took a picture out of either the wallet or photo album and wanted to put it on the computer for uploading to such MySpace or Yahoo or such. That is what I am asking. Thank you for any help.

Whose picture are you trying to put up?

1.) It's my picture.

2.) Win XP Pro x32

If you go to Control Panel, find an icon called Scanners and Cameras
Have a look there.

Under Scanners and Camera. I do see the following: HP Photosmart C4200

Not sure what to do now. What do I do?

I'm not sure but what happens if you click on it.
Back at home, to scan pictures I have to go to Scanners and Cameras, click the icon and it will ask me if I wanted to scan.

Your "all-in-one" surely came with some programs. One of them must be scanning program. You should have some icon on desktop.
What brand, and model is it?

Look in your printer manual - if you don't have it, go here: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_pagetype=s-002&h_query=HP+Photosmart+C4200&submit.x=5&submit.y=4, pick your printer and download the manual.

The manual will tell you how to scan a picture and save it to your computer.

well actually its as easy as 1.2.3!!!!
if your all in 1 priter is working well

1st scan the photo you like to upload on your myspace on your scanner.

2nd then save it as jpeg or mpeg file.

3rd upload it in your myspace or friendster or you can print it on your printer using glossy photo paper.  ;D
